I shot this engagement session last night on the campus of SU. I really wanted to finish it up before I left tomorrow for Greece, but there are just too many cute images to get it done–sorry Adam and Jillian–I should have know better.

But, to hold you over until I get back here are some of the many images.

As you can tell they were a pretty easy couple to work with–both super cute and easy going.

Okay, I debated sharing this image, but I just keep coming back to it and that is normally a sign that it is a good image–those images that stick with you, and well this one just keeps making me smile.

I really love photographing this family. Mom always fills me in on the little things that the kids are currently into and then she has some activities planned.  Mostly, we just try to capture the little everyday things that they do right now and don’t want to forget.

For instance, this normally happens every morning.

And W is really into Superman right now. Here he is showing off some of his flying for me.

There was some gardening.

and some car racing.

It was a great morning. So, next time  you are getting ready for your session–think about the little everyday things that your kids are doing, but also plan a few other fun things–bubbles, sprinkler fun, a silly string fight, messy ice cream cones—you get the picture.

I super love this shot–the light–the grain–the moment.

She had a great serious face at times–love the dots.

And since this session was on Memorial Day–here is a shot with a flag in it. And, I love it including the lovely sun flare.

I was thrilled to be asked to photograph this session. This mom was a bridesmaid for one of my weddings last year (Happy Anniversary Amy and Joe!)–actually Amy and Joe are the Aunt and Uncle of this cutie.

Hope the b-day party goes great.

I have a ton of stuff that I really want to get done before Greece and sharing images of this cutie is one of those things.

It was a beautiful day and so we had to do a few images outside.

I feel bad that I don’t have time to blog more about this nice family. I was really impressed with how they have adjusted to parenthood and I am just loving the images from their session.

Okay, two year old twins are super cute, but can be hard to photograph even for me! These two were pretty fast and always moving in different directions.

A cuddle with mom–and Oh my gosh it was such a windy day. Mom and Dad were sports to even go outside the wind blew so hard.

The kids love their new playset.

When I left–the kids were totally worn out and ready for a snooze.

This little lady is pretty amazing huh? And, in case you are wondering –her mom looked awesome. I think she credits yoga and running for helping her through her pregnancy and labor. I think her family also helped too. When I did their maternity pictures there was so much laughing and the love was really evident.

Isn’t she so sweet–I love newborn yawns and she had some great ones.

I had to use this beautiful hand knit blanket in at least one image.

Lisa, you look super and your newest daughter is ohhhh so cute.

I just love how little the newborns look near dad’s head–even an 11lb newborn.

I can’t believe these images haven’t made it to the blog yet! I have been really trying hard to stay on top of things since things are so busy around here, and some sessions haven’t even been blogged yet!

This session has some images that I totally love!! I always try to give my digital images a film feel to them, but this whole session really reminded me of my old film days.

And finally, I love this shot, and honestly the baby is adorable, but the dishes really make the image.

This session was almost rained out. We had a last minute location change and hoped for the best.  After spending more time with Robin and Doug I am really excited about photographing their wedding. They had a great way of interacting with each other and I think it shows in the images.

I let them relax a little bit before really getting started with the session.

Janet and Mike had a beautiful wedding in a little church in Weedsport, NY. I though the church fit the mood of the ceremony and the simple feel that Janet wanted for the day.

She got ready at the house that she grew up at.

This is a beautiful quilt that Mike’s grandmother made for them and I think it set the scene well. The weather was very windy and rain threatened.

I am always trying to find a new way to photograph the dress.

I just thought this was a fun image of one of the flower girls and her dad relaxing while the rest of the house was getting ready. I wonder what was so interesting?

And, I like how this image is a portrait of Janet’s childhood home, but also a portrait of her on her wedding day.

There were four flower girls in all and I must say they made their way into quite a few pictures–and from this image I’m betting that I am not the only one that got quite a few images of them.

I am a sucker for this shot. It always makes me sentimental.

Don’t you love it when the Best Man pretends to have forgotten the rings? At least I think he was pretending.

The reception was held at Emerson Park in Auburn. Notice the yellow shoes–too cute.

Janet is such a natural beauty.

Umm…this one might have to enter some contests it is so good! It is the groom and his mom, and the groom’s niece–love this moment.
