Growing up| Syracuse, NY family photographer
Wednesday, September 29th, 2010I just love baby sessions. I mean photographing a 6 month old baby might just be my favorite thing to do, but…..
I have been having a heck of a good time photographing school age kids recently. These two boys were a favorite for sure.
We never found the ocean during our session, but we had fun.
Still kids.
Love those smiles.
I call this the Southern Living dog portrait.
A few natural, relaxed portraits.
Notice the relaxed dog.
Now for a few much more relaxed family portraits.
Thanks for having me out. Your boys were a joy to photograph.

Monday, September 27th, 2010It is a rainy day in Syracuse and it is only appropriate that I work on proofing this session that also took place on a rainy day. Sometimes it is impossible to reschedule due to rain–especially when kids are in school. To fit this session in we did a morning session so that the kids older kids could be included. At this point, morning weekday sessions are the only time slots available for Oct.
Now, onto this full family.
It all started with this beautiful girl.
Then along came this cute guy.
And, then another fun little guy.
And now, number 4…another beautiful boy.
They are quite a crew.
Thanks for having me out.
Congratulations.
Brittany & Dave are getting married!| Syracuse, Ny wedding photographer
Friday, September 24th, 2010Brittany and Dave are getting married next summer.
A big thanks you to Hencle’s Berry Patch for letting us wander around during this fun engagement session.
The raspberries were really yummy. A week before our session I picked two buckets full and they were all enjoyed.
Love this shot too.
It was really hot during our session, but Brittany and Dave were great sports.
And–the light was just amazing.
Sunshine gold warmth followed us around wherever we went.
See you in June, 2011!!

Friday, September 24th, 2010Look at that belly. Go ahead and look closely. It is pretty perfect if you ask me. Now, guess what……
That perfect belly has held 3 other babies. I totally could not believe it.
The family is super cute and fun to photograph.
The baby for just a bit longer…
Can’t wait to see the new baby, and I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the baby will be blond.
Erin & Dan are getting married!| Syracuse, NY wedding photographer
Thursday, September 23rd, 2010Erin and Dan are getting married on Oct. 30th and after photographing their engagement session I knew for sure that I would be the right photographer for their wedding.
I mean look at how much fun these two are.
Lots of laughing.
We found a few spiders in this vine wall.
Love this one.
Won’t be long before I see these two again.
Personality| Syracuse, NY family photographer
Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010I am finally catching up and I appreciate everyone who has been so patient in getting their proofs. School has started, life has a routine, and in between sessions I am hard at work on my computer editing photos.
Editing this session brought some smiles as I remembered all of the personality these boys showed off, especially the older boy who was a little unsure of me, but I love the different parts of himself that I could capture.
It was great to work with your lovely family.

Friday, September 17th, 2010I am not going to lie. Getting these two active kiddos to be in the same frame for an image was not easy. They were busy being kids, and when one kid wanted to be on the swing-set the other kid wanted to run in the grass. And when one kid wanted to roll in the grass the other kid wanted to ride on the kid car.
So, you can image my surprise when I got one of my favorite sibling shots ever. I know it is not a classic favorite image–I mean one kid has his eyes closed, but I love it.
Love it…Like enter it in a contest love it.
More cuteness.
