This is one lucky little guy….
Because he is now a big brother to an adorable baby sister.
I think she is pleased.
I love this shot.
And this one.
I wonder what she has to say.
I love capturing these everyday moments with a newborn.
Love those cheeks.
You are going to be a great big brother little man.
I really am so very lucky. I get thanked all of the time and many times I get handwritten thanks you’s. I really get excited when I see that my wedding clients have used one of my images from their wedding as their thank you card.
Here are a few different one’s that I have gotten.
This was a fun thank you that used an engagement session image. I love the talk bubble.
This one folded open. Just image on the front, and then just blank inside for writing. I loved it.
I loved this collage card.
Simple and sweet.
This was a really cool idea. The bride found an image of every guest and then made prints which she attached to cards herself so that every guest got an individual thank you. She even found an image of me for my thank you card.
Images from the engagement session also are often used for save the date cards.
Did you notice all the little pin prick marks in these cards? I keep all of my thank yous on a bulletin board right by my desk. I admit I look at them often–especially when I need a little confidence boost.
Our dog Lola is now one.
I think really I should celebrate once I can get her to not jump on people when they come in the house or not to think she owns the couch, but it is a birthday and my kids insist that we celebrate it. I somehow got out of having to throw a party for her but we still gave her a gift and sang to her.
What a cutie.
We packed in lots of fun during this session.
Things started off with some cuddle time for her favorite animals.
Jump, jump, jump—Always a favorite activity.
A dress up change of wardrobe and then some dancing with daddy.
Another way to jump.
Things ended with a little cuddling for mom.
Whew, I am exhausted.
Thanks for having me out again.
It is rare to see this much sweetness from siblings (or maybe that is just my kids).
The love did get a bit painful for the cat, but he was totally chill about it.
Yum—thumb sucking pictures, my favorite.
Such a sweetie.
I keep looking at this image and the negative space and I feel like I could turn it into a greeting card if only I had the right saying. Hmmmm…..
Love those beautiful brown eyes.
Thanks for having me out to photograph your family.
Meet the lovely Whitney and Matt. Another amazing winter wedding.
I was lucky enough to photograph this wedding in Asheville, NC. It was bitterly cold, but what a beautiful wedding it was. My sister-in-law is the groom’s sister and that made the day even more special.
Congrats and enjoy this slideshow. *the song used is the song that they danced to for their first dance which was delightful.
I hesitate to show off these pictures because I do not regularly offer extended family sessions. …However, this family decided to do their holiday gathering in January (past the holiday craziness) and the event sounded so relaxed that I couldn’t resist.
I didn’t even know they were going to pull out this crazy game when they booked, but now I wish I could bring it to all of my family gatherings.
It is a shocking game—where you literally get shocked if you lose. Can you tell who is getting shocked in this picture?
The little girl was laughing so hard at her aunt and uncle that she cried.
They opened presents while I was there.
We recreated an old family photo—too bad I couldn’t get them all to stop laughing so that they could have their original expressions.
grown up siblings! This only child(me) is jealous.
Thanks for sharing a bit of your family with me.
Congratulations to Michelle and Scott who were married last weekend on the lovely date of 1.1.11
The ceremony was at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with the reception at the Sheraton at Syracuse University.
Whistlestop Florist did the flowers.
I think these detail pictures are some of my favorites.
And I just love this photograph of the father of the bride seeing his daughter all ready for the first time.
During the ceremony the little ring bearer was very into the decorations and kept looking back at the large wreath on his walk down the aisle. So cute.
After the ceremony it was getting dark fast, and starting to rain, but everyone in the bridal party was great, and the boots helped I’m sure, for a few formal(ish) shots.

Thank you so much for selecting me to photograph your wedding.
Congratulations once again.
