It is that time of year where if you haven’t already scheduled a session there are no openings for sessions before the holidays. I hate having to turn people down, but it happens. Last year this family contacted me and unfortunately I wasn’t able to fit their little 5 year old in. Well, I am so happy they called again this year and I was able to photograph this adorable 6 year old.

Her mom told me she was a bit of a firecracker before the session–and she sure did shine bright.

She was so much fun to photograph, but busy busy busy….

I loved the light here, but in order to get this shot we ended up walking into a small swamp which I didn’t really notice until our shoes were covered in mud.

At the end of this session I saw an adorable kid size Carhartt coat hanging by the door and asked if we could take a few images with it on. Love it.
